The Speakeasy at J. Render’s is a fully private event venue that seats up to 50 guests. It sits separate from the main restaurant, which means your group gets the full J. Render’s experience without any distractions. Just great food, great drinks, great company, and an atmosphere that feels like nowhere else in this city.
People have used the Speakeasy for corporate gatherings, birthday celebrations, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, bourbon tasting dinners, Derby parties with best-dressed contests, and intimate evenings of live music that guests are still talking about months later. And we can’t forget everything from baby showers to celebrations of life! This year in fact, we hosted Master Distiller Ross Cornelissen of 1792 Bourbon for an exclusive barrel-to-table dinner! Our packages start at $25 per person and go up to $45 per person depending on how elaborate you want to go. Every package includes your choice of J. Render’s slow-smoked meats, homemade sides, and desserts. We also offer brunch packages, bar packages ranging from wine and beer to full premium bar service, signature cocktail creation, and audio-visual support for presentations and slideshows.
